After a, shall we say, difficult, time in the east of Argentina three weeks ago, our time in Mendoza is a wholly different experience.
All we can say is that working at this little place was like a dream come true. With its calm atmosphere, solid wifi and sensational coffee, Dos de azúcar was our local and our favourite. As we ended up there a few times during our week in Mendoza, the staff got to know us pretty well and each lunch time our favourite waiter would come over to our table to encourage us to take a break from work and have something to eat.
If you go, get the blue cheese and grapefruit salad – totally gorgeous and allows space for steak and red wine later on.
